When did I first get interested in racing?

When I was 10-years old I bought my first go cart and made a track on my parents land, that is when I knew I wanted to race. My father taught me about all the parts of the engine and the mechanics, in addition to setting up the chassis. My parents helped me a lot on teaching me respect and hard work. There was not a lot of money for extras; therefore if I wanted to race I had to work and save to buy my first go cart as well as my first car, and I did. As I approached

the age of 14 my brother helped me buy my first R/C Car, within the first 6-months I was winning modified A main features. After that I went a full season of racing without losing a feature. I took it to the next level and was racing national events where I finished 25^th in the nation, being the only driver without a sponsor in that main. At the age of 19 a friend let me drive his race car in a heat race in Sturgeon Bay, WI. That’s is all it took, I saved up and purchased my own.

What are my goals as a race car driver?

I would like be successful and achieve more accomplishments that will give me the credibility, experience and recognition to be able to advance to a higher level of completive racing.
